New Camera, New Beautiful Photos of CJ

I just love how this camera (a canon digital rebel xt) does not turn his eyes into some weird color or better yet just make them white. You just can't help but love those big brown eyes!

I've Been Sleeping

Oh my I have been so bad at keeping up with this. Two whole months have passed. Well here is a whole bunch of photos taken over the past two months. Hopefully it helps to make up for the lag just a little. Will try really hard to post more often.

CJ loves food so much that the empty bag even has some appeal, or just the smell of food that he loves so much. These photos were hard to capture, he was moving so fast. I think he wanted to take a nap with the bag as he was trying to get into his crate with it.

Lack of updates around here due to me being sick. CJ's doing just super though, but since he lacks opposable thumbs he couldn't get on here and post...

Sorry about the sporadic posting over here, I have not been forgetting. Okay yes I have been forgetting to take photos of CJ it has been a bit hectic over here in crafty land. I have to say though the fact that I have remembered to post a few times a week at the very least is pretty good on my part. Don't lose hope the weather is getting better and CJ will be traveling...

Many of CJ's nicknames come from how he acts, we often times call him Dr. Fang when he roles over on his back and his canines show. He looks angry, but he is the biggest sweetheart.

Since tomorrow will be the official launch date here. I thought I would start things off here with a little pre-launch story about CJ...
These are the first two photos we ever took of CJ, they were taken on January 31st, 2005.

Some facts about CJ:

• He was left at a kill shelter in Indiana where the rescue picked him up
• We originally went to look at another dog, which turned out to be a bit standoffish. They said there was another dog we could look at
• They brought CJ in, and he ran up to me and put his paw on my knee. I was ready to take him home right then, but we had to wait to contact the rescue first
  
• He is named after my stuffed dog Cubby, CJ stands for Cubby Junior
• He had hookworm and heartworm which we found out about a month later when he got really sick
• He has made a full recovery for the most part, except it takes him a long time to recover after running and playing
